It is important to us to protect your privacy and your personal data. We process your data in accordance with the legal regulations applicable in Austria (DSGVO link).

 

The following data privacy information sets out how data is processed on our websites. This data privacy declaration applies to all services and websites provided and operated by Kunsthandel Widder GmbH.

 

As a user of our digital services you have to comply with the regulations of the Data Protection Act. You agree with the use of your data for marketing and sales activities. You agree with the receipt of information via telephone, e-mail (newsletters and mass mailings), text messages, mail service (invitations to fairs and gallery events, catalogues), etc. You may revoke this consent at any time.

 

Purpose of data processing
 

If you visit our website, our webserver automatically processes data delivered by your browser. Data, which you transmitted actively and voluntarily e.g. by surfing or completing the contact form, the newsletter subscription or by placing an order in our webshop, will be stored for an indefinite period, but at least as long as it is necessary for the conduct of our services. Following data will be stored:

 

  • date and time of request
  • name of the accessed website
  • IP-address: collected to define from which country the connection comes, enables to provide regional contents in some cases.
  • URL: identifies subpages you have visited, enables to identify which subpages are especially popular.
  • Referrer: transmitted by your browser and may contain information which link on another website you have clicked to visit our website. We use this information to find out which websites link to our website.
  • User-Agent-String: Your browsers identification shows browser type and version as well as information about the technology you have used to access our website (e.g. mobile). This information may be used to optimize our website to the terminal device (e.g. mobile or desktop version; caching, loading time,…).

 

Contact form and e-mail
 

If you contact us by completing the contact form or by sending an e-mail, we store your data for the processing of your inquiry. Apart from your stated data (e-mail, name, address, telephone number, etc.) we also store the text of your message as well as the attached files and photos. This data will be stored for an indefinite period, but at least as long as it is necessary for the conduct of our services. If you don’t want to receive further messages, you may revoke mailings at any time.

 

Newsletter
 

You may subscribe to our newsletter on our websites, for which we need your e-mail-address. By clicking the button “Subscribe to our Newsletter” or by clicking the check box “Subscribe to our Newsletter” you agree to receive our newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter service we store your e-mail-address. You may provide further personal information by filling  out our contact form with address, etc. This data will be stored for an indefinite period, but at least as long as it is necessary for the conduct of our services.

Opening our newsletter provides further data: opening rate, opening rate of pages, used browser and IP-address. We use this data to customize our service to your needs. You may unsubscribe the newsletter at any time. At the bottom of each newsletter there is an "unsubscribe"-button (“Newsletter abmelden”). By clicking this button your e-mail program will be triggered and you may send us an e-mail. This e-mail-address will be unsubscribed from our newsletter service.

 

Webshop
 

You may order artworks in our webshop, for which reason we collect following data: salutation, name, address, e-mail-address, company name, telephone number, additional notes, IP-address. Mandatory fields are marked with a star. By canceling the purchase process, no data will be stored. In case of a conclusion of an order all data originated from the order process will be stored for an indefinite period, but at least until the expiry of the fiscal retention period or as long as it is necessary for the conduct of our services.

 

Transfer and Transmission
 

If we transmit data to subcontractors (e.g. accounting, tax consultancy, shipping company, insurance) to meet the contractual obligations (e.g. sale of an artwork in our webshop), the companies are also bound by Austrian law (DSGVO) to a secure use of data. This data may only be used within the contracted project.

 

Transmission of data following the order of Austrian authorities
 

If an Austrian authority mandates the release of data, e.g. in case of a legal action, we reserve the right to transmit data.

 

Rights to information and deletion
 

You have the Right to Rectification, Erasure, Restriction of Processing, Data Portability, Revocation and Complaint. Furthermore you may have the right to receive information regarding the processing of your personal data. For questions contact us at: office@kunsthandelwidder.com

 

Cookies
 

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small piece of data that a website asks your browser to store on your computer or mobile device. They are used to enhance your user experience. Our websites use services from two third party providers (Google, Facebook, Instagram) and embed code to use these services. In some cases a connection to Google and Facebook Services will be established. We don’t have knowledge about or influence on which data will be processed from these companies.
